PRESS RELEASE
EVENTONETWORK MEETING
IN BARCELONA
THE INTERNATIONAL EVENT ORGANIZATION
NETWORK
On the 17th and 18th April, Eventonetwork
(www.eventonetwork.com), the international network of
companies specializing in event organization, held its
third meeting in Barcelona.
The meeting was attended by all the network's partners from
Budapest, Prague, Brussels, Madrid, Barcelona, Sofia, Rome,
Milan and Venice.
The meeting's objectives included the development of
promotional strategies to support Italian-made products in
international markets and the planning of transnational
events aimed at helping customers appreciate the full value
of the economies of scale resulting from the extensive
nature of the network.
After the close of the meeting on Friday 18th April, the
network officially opened the new Barcelona office, by
hosting a Night Workshop at the “Lounge Club Carpe
Diem”. This event was attended by professionals from
the events and congress sector, together with both
corporate and institutional clients. During the evening,
entertainment was provided by “Dizah” (belly
dancing) and the Michael Jackson Thriller’s Ballett,
who involved the public in their engaging performance.
The inauguration of the Barcelona office, that opened its
doors for business around two months ago, marks another
important step in the development of the Network, that in
less than two years has grown to include many important
European capitals. Future plans include a further expansion
of the network’s presence to cities such as Paris,
Vienna, Moscow and London.
Eventonetwork was founded two years ago by Luigino Bottega,
a businessman who has been living in Hungary for many
years. With over fourteen years of experience in marketing
and communication (his achievements include winning three
of Il Sole 24 Ore's web prizes - the internet Oscars), he
is a shining example of the new generation of Italian
businessmen abroad. Luigino Bottega is supported by
Federico Oggian, a businessman who has lived in Prague for
many years, who works as a business consultant and is a
director of Antares Consulting (www.antaresconsulting.cz).
Federico Oggian has succeeded in providing the network with
innovative and functional business development strategies,
as demonstrated by the impressive portfolio of clients that
have decided to work with the Network: Adidas, Fortis Bank,
Total, Pharmarc, FEPE, Novartis, LanDesk, International
professional associations, International Embassies and
Chambers of Commerce.
The next meeting of the Network will be held in Prague on
the 7th and 8th July.
